On 31^st March 2022, the Aberdeen Kai-fong Welfare Association Limited was awarded the operation service contract for the Southern District Health Centre (SDHC) by the Health Bureau (former Food and Health Bureau). SDHC will officially be put into service on 17ᵗʰ October 2022. The core centre of the SDHC serves as the headquarter, and is complemented by 4 district satellite of the SDHC serves as the headquarter, and is complemented by 4 district satellite centres located at convenient locations as service hubs, utilizing information technology infrastructure to link up a service network composed of district healthcare professionals. The SDHC will strive to strengthen the coordination with primary healthcare services and facilities in other districts, in order to enable residents in the community to take care of their personal health needs more conveniently.
