The Southern District Wellness Centre is dedicated to providing comprehensive management services for lower back pain and degenerative knee pain.
Our dedicated medical team will tailor personalized care plans to help alleviate pain, improve mobility, and enhance quality of life.
Eligibility
- Members of Southern District Health Centre;
- Patients suffering from specific pain problems; and
- Have never received pain management copayment service at any District Health Centre (DHC) / DHC Express.

*Elderly Health Care Vouchers (including rewards under the Pilot Reward Scheme) are only applicable to standard services; they are not applicable to value-added services.

*Occupational therapy and dietetic counselling services require a referral from a doctor. Chinese medicine services may require a referral from a doctor depending on the individual’s situation.
*Service users can receive individual allied health and Chinese medicine services under a co-payment model. Eligible individuals will receive partial subsidies from the Government and pay a designated co-payment amount to access the services.
*Service users are entitled to a maximum of 8 sessions of subsidized services (including occupational therapy, Chinese medicine, physiotherapy, or dietetics), which must be completed within 10 weeks from the date of service registration.
